Romans 8:32 Since he did not spare even his own Son, but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
M.A.R.C MINISTRY is a place where you will be established in your identity in Christ Jesus through the preaching of the Gospel. We believe that the Word of God is our foundation. We learn about the Father’s love as foundation for our Christian walk.
As we feed on God’s Word, we will mature into spiritual fruitfulness. We believe that the gathering and fellowship of the saints facilitates an encounter with God for all generations.
We endeavour to structure the Ministry according to the people’s gifts and character. We have challenged the traditional top-down structure and chose to rather mobilize the whole body as far as possible. Body Ministry seems to be the most Biblical pattern.
We focus on the Gifts of the Father (Rom 12), the Gifts of the Son (Eph 4), and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 12) as our guideline to place people in the respective Departments of Ministry. People’s gifts will make room for them and in turn they will be released into more ministry as required by the Lord and the Vision of this Ministry.
We recognize that people have different gifts and cannot be effective in every area of ministry, therefore we will train them in their respective gifting and then motivate them to pursue the call of God for their lives.
1. We believe that the anointed teaching and obedience to the Holy Spirit are catalysts for transformation in individual's lives and giving direction and motivation to the church. This includes the concept of teaching for life change and stirring each other to love and good works. Romans 12:1,2 Timothy 3:16-17, James 1:23-25, Hebrews 10:24-25.
2. We believe in Spirit inspired worship services that enable individuals to encounter God. This includes the concept of individuals being inspired to express their love and adoration to God in praise and Worship. Psalm 100:1-5, Ephesians 5:18-21, Colossians 3:16.
3. We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church. This includes the concepts of lifestyle friendship evangelism as a process and cell and celebration evangelism. Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Matthew 18:14. Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8.
4. We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. This includes the concept of sensitively and non-discriminately relating to our cultures through our facilities, printed materials, use of the arts and acts of kindness etc. The methods, music and tradition may change: the message never. 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23.
5. We believe that churches should be led by men and women with leadership gifts. This includes the concepts of empowerment, pastors to lead, servant leadership and strategic focus. Nehemiah 1 & 2, Romans 12:8, Acts 6:2-5.
6. We believe that the church is called to exhibit kingdom life as sons and daughters In Christ. This includes the concept of purposeful equipping through teaching and application of our core doctrines which includes but not limited to: The Father Heart, In Christ, Righteousness… Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:2.
7. We believe that life-change happens best in small groups. This includes the concepts of, deeper meaningful relationships, application of truth, practical Christianity, vulnerability, accountability and exercising spiritual gifts and ministry callings. Luke 6: 12-13, Acts 2: 44-47.
8. We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. This includes the concepts of love-inspired ministry, of caring and sharing and serving, of ministry accomplished in teams, and relationship building. 1 Corinthians 13, Nehemiah 3, Luke 10:1, John 13:34-35.
9. We believe in authentic relationships. This concept includes: respecting other’s callings and emphasizes, the maintaining of unity and the inclusion in Christ. Psalms 133:1, Ephesians 4:2-3.
The emphasis of this type of training is focused on personal development and an
individuals relationship.
This training is a more formal training that is presented to people who wish
to become members of the ministry.
Here are children of God who have a desire to contribute to kingdom life. You have a desire do something for the Lord.
We have challenged the traditional top-down structure and chose to rather mobilize the individual through Body Ministry.
We have specialized programmes catering for the needs of anyone who want to learn more about Pastoring and Pastoral Restoration.
More, wat ek ervaar het is dat die mense in die gemeente, jonk en oud nie huiwer om een te laat welkom voel nie en dat daar nogsteeds plek is vir die werking van die Heilige Gees. Die Heilige Gees word nie onderdruk nie.
What I want to share, is that our very 1st meeting at the Victory Life Kriel Campus. I have never, never ever had such a “heartfelt and sincere” welcoming from the ushers at the door and greeted by literally everyone in church!
Firstly the welcoming faces and warm feeling when you get entering Victory life. Secondly the worship is fantastic and lastly the Word shared is amazing and leaves us wanting more of our Father in our lives.
